I think if there's one lip product must-have for every girl aside from lipstick, it will be a lip tint! Am I right? As for me, it's my go-to for le lips whenever I want to wear some color so I won't look like "I woke up like this... from the grave", but still not in the mood for some heavy makeup nor lipstick. It's one that you can wear even in the gym without you being judged like "ohh she works out with makeup?"
** WARNING: This post is filled with cutesy photos ^_^**
Thank you AGC for this Birthday Bouquet! So much love and appreciated!
So I want to share my newest discovery /slash/ new HG lip tint! I already posted it on Instagram if you remember. I have this since last year, December (watch my and I just finally got to try it weeks go. The Etude House Snowy Dessert Pudding Tint in Apple Pudding (shade)! You can choose from 3 more shades: Lychee, Grapefuit and Peach.
The packaging reminds me of a cake box, but the miniature version. It's so cute and perfect as gifts, no more gift wrapping needed! Well, what to expect with Etude House right? Their packaging are one of the best and cutest as always.
It says here at the bottom, in line with the Direction of use: "apply onto lips with the back of spoon tip". Haven't tried that but I'll see next time what's the difference using a spoon?? Did I get it right?
*Avoid storing in high and low temperatures, and areas exposed to direct sunlight.
List of ingredients in case you're curious what's in it.
I appreciate product labels esp. the Manufacturing / Expiry Date so I know when to throw away products like this, which I think will last me months! It contains 5.5g of product which is pretty a lot for a lip tint considering that I don't go out often unless there are events, meetings, and clients.
Texture: It feels like gelatine and bouncy, molded in this cutie pie jar. Since it's gelo-like, you just need to *tap-tap / press lightly to get the product. Then I use dabbing / fast tapping motion when applying it to my lips too.
Scent: Mild sweet apple scent that's not too overwhelming. People who have a thing with scented makeups can tolerate.
Color is buildable. If you want to darken it, just apply a few more layers.
It looks so natural on the lips! I love how it brightens my skin. Usually these days, I go out bare face and I just dab a few of the pudding tint, then I'm good!
Here's the post that I'm talking about a while ago on Instagram. It looks a little pinkish here due to sunlight but it's darker / more opaque in person.
It's a love at first use kind of product and I instantly toss it inside my everyday makeup kit! What I really like with this tint is, it doesn't settle on certain areas of the lips. Like for example, I have this bad habit of peeling off skin of lips when it's dry. Some lip tints settle on areas where I just peeled off my skin and i'll look like I have patches which get some people into thinking if I just been into a fight or something (yes, someone even commented that on my youtube channel when I was wearing a lip tint that I was testing for a review).
I love this product and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes wearing lip tints. You have 4 shades to choose from! It's not drying and long-lasting. It can last the whole day without eating nor drinking and fades a little when you eat oily food.
A jar will cost you P478.00, available in all Etude House branches nationwide. It contains a lot of product in the jar and I love the quality, so P478.00 for this lip tint is good.
Let me know if you've tried any Snowy Dessert lip tint and if you have an HG lip tint too, share it away in the comments! I'll be happy to check it out myself and I might like it too! 😉
