If we are friends on my social pages like Facebook and Instagram (@genzelkisses / @genzelmakeup), you know that I recently got invited to attend the Forever 21 x Philippine Fashion Week at SMX Mall of Asia. It was traffic like crazy that day and I was so thankful that I just came at the venue just in time, a minute before the event officially started I guess.
Forever 21 Holiday collection for this year’s campaign features the real life celebrity couple, Iggy Azalea (Australian recording artist) and Nick Young (LA Lakers guard).

Iggy describes her style as quirky, bold and strong while her partner Nick loves being daring and risk-taking. They are the perfect pair for Forever 21’s Holiday collection.
Forever 21 Women’s Holiday Collection includes velvet knit cropped tops, fit and flare dresses, printed metallic shorts, oversized cardigans and cozy pullover sweaters. The assortment carries a diverse range of tactile and festive fabrics from velvet to metallic fabrics to sequins.
Their Men’s Holiday Collection features suiting for all occasions. This unique collection includes suits of brushed flannel, wool blends, marled textures as well as tweeds in silhouettes that vary from slim to classic.
Now moving on to the event, here are some pictures of my favorite outfits that I spotted during the fashion show. It was a bit hard to take whole body shots because I was seated near front side of the stage so I hope you still enjoy the photos below. You can really get a lot of fashion inspirations from the show. These are my favorites.
Who says kids can’t be fashionable at their young age? Of course they can! This is my most favorite part of the show. I so love kids and seeing them wearing these outfits made me really so proud as if I am their parent haha.
The show lasted for around 10 – 20 minutes I believe. The event was also attended by some celebrities like Troy Montero, Aubrey Miles, and their cute little one.
You can find outfit that you can wear in the office, school, or even just in ordinary days that you want to feel all dressed-up. I really appreciate these fashion inspirations of how you can wear knitted tops, long sleeves, and sweaters. I have a separate closet full of sweaters and jackets, now I have more ideas on how I can maximize them especially this holiday season.
There’s a small portion in the venue where you can shop for the collection featured during the show. There were a lot of people enjoying their shopping galore so I decided to just shop at the nearest Forever 21 branch. Good news for use peeps in the south! Forever 21 finally opened their branch at SM Southmall! I’ll post about the opening event soon!
