There is a good variety of food at Food Scouts that is a delivery only outlet in Rajouri Garden. It is near to TDI Mall. But they have two more outlets in the nearby vicinities. One is in Punjabi Bagh and another is in Janak Puri. This is my first order from them. The cuisines they deliver are North Indian, Chinese, Continental, and Rolls. My order includes a starter, some North Indian dishes & bread, and a Continental dish. Ordering a variety from an outlet gives you a fair amount of idea about its expertise, quality, and taste. At times, an outlet boasting of various cuisines has expertise in either one or two only. But that is not the case with Food Scouts. Here is my complete order. Sliced Chicken Holy Basil, Meat Lover’s Pizza, Fungi Stroganoff, Paneer Lababdar, and some bread. Bread include Paneer, Mix, and Aloo Paranthas.
Let us start with the packing of food that comes from Food Scouts. A perfect box packing comes in a very neat way that impresses you in first go. While other deliveries handover you multiple small containers at your doorstep that, at times, become difficult to handle, it was different in this case. Firstly, the pizza was in a separate box with a decent packing. Secondly, all other items 5-6 different small containers and packs were in a box. So apparently I had to handle only two boxes. Whereas handling all individually and separately would have been a tedious task. That is an intelligent style of packing by Food Scouts. Same is the case with individual containers and bread packs. Neat packing with no spilling is the mantra.
Food Scouts Is A Yummy Treat
Now, coming to food in terms of quality and taste. Food Scouts seems to have an expertise in that too. Meat Lover’s Pizza is a true yummy treat. The base is thin crust but evenly baked. No tight corners to handle with difficult chewing. In fact, you will not find excess sauce on the base. At times, I see pizzas with too much of red sauce. Similarly, the same goes true with chilly flakes, seasonings, and other spices. Everything is so perfect in this pizza that includes varieties of chicken preparations on it. This pizza is a right contender to order in first go without thinking twice. Sliced Chicken Holy Basil is another creamy and spicy treat that you will fall in love with. Provide you are a non-veg. And if you are, you must try this too.
Let us come to the North Indian Breads from Food Scouts. Though softness, taste, and quality in Paranthas are good the stuffing requires an improvement. In fact, stuffing was so mild that it was difficult to ascertain which is which. Rice and Fungi Stroganoff creamy gravy come in two separate containers. Mix them and enjoy this popular Continental dish. Paneer Lababdar in Indian Main Course is equally good in taste and preparation. Overall, Food Scouts have a distinct quality that compels you to order again and again.
