Accidentally slept in until 9:30 this morning, but I guess that is what Saturday’s are for! I think I needed it. But, I pulled myself out of bed, ate a small, quick breakfast, and we were on our way. I really wanted to push a bit further today. Last Saturday we managed 6km, so I wanted to make it to 8km, which meant going from bridge to bridge >
We started in Telopea Park, and it was pretty miserable – so much fog, even though it was 10:30(!), and pretty cold. By the end, I was way too hot though… I need to work out a good level of layering for braving the Winter temps.
According to my Body Media armband I burned over 500 cals during the walk, so I can’t wait to see what today looks like stats-wise.
Got home and I decided to make an early-ish lunch, but before that, a smoothie to tide me over. The very last frozen half banana in the freezer, some vanilla protein, frozen berries, ice and skim milk. It was a bit thick, but I kinda like it that way
