Natural Makeup look is what most people aim for, especially to those who are new to makeup application and just wanted to take everything gradually. I also have clients, even brides, who want their makeup to be flawless, their skin but better, natural but enhanced. To achieve this, you don't actually need to own tons of eyeshadow palettes. Invest on a palette with rose tones, nudes, and neutrals like Maybelline The Blushed Nudes palette.
I love all the colors in it. For me, the Blushed Nudes is a nice dupe for Urban Decay Naked 3! The colors are somewhat close, very beautiful for brides or anyone who just wants a flushed look, best when partnered with Maybelline Lip Flush for natural healthy-looking lips to jive with the whole makeup.
Maybelline The Blushed Nudes Palette
I'm so in love with the rose gold packaging with a clear lid where you can see all the colors in the palette. The selection of colors is really pretty and multi-functional.
Most of the shades here are satin and shimmer.
You can have as many combinations as you can. Go for Duos, Trios, or Quads.
SWATCHES
The names of the shades/colors are at the back of the box. However, I just don't get the pattern like, which is which. I tried to check if the first 6 (left to right) are the names for the top row but it's not, so I'll name them to the best of my abilities based on how close the colors are shown in the box comparing each with the palette.
Top Row: Left to Right
Shiver, Lingerie, Flushed, Brick, Angel, OxBlood
Second Row: Left to Right
Smokey Taupe, Chocolate, Burning, Mocha, Concrete, After Hours
Mostly shimmer with a few satin (Silver, Concrete, and Chocolate). They are not as creamy as you wish but they aren't chalky neither which is good since light colors and shimmer ones tend to be chalky. I didn't use eye shadow primer but the colors are visible, what more with primer underneath. You can use them alone, your eye makeup will still last pretty much around 6 hours onwards, as long as you don't get too sweaty nor oily. I noticed minimal fading after 5 hours of wearing. Creasing will depend on your eye primer and concealer used as base.
Maybelline Lip Flush
To finish the natural makeup look, pair your makeup with Maybelline Lip Flush. The tube isn't your ordinary Maybelline lipstick packaging. Lip flush is housed in a slimmer, sleek tube that feels classy. The color of the cap indicates the shade of the lipstick. I find it easier to choose what I wanna wear for the day.
I have 3 shades! PK01, PK03 and RD01. Very easy to memorize! PK for pink shade and RD for reds.
These are classified as moisturizing lipsticks but for me, they appear and feel more like lip butters because of the consistency, pigmentation, quality, and packaging.
Maybelline Lip Flush are glossy/shiny like lip butters.
TIP: Exfoliate first with a lip scrub, I'm using one from Ellana Minerals. If you don't have any, you can use a toothbush or wet wipes. Just a light scrub-a-dub-dub will do. It is very important that your lips are moisturized as it feels uneasy when you put on Lip Flush on top of your cracked, dry lips.
PK01 is a light/nude rose color. It complements medium to fair skin tone.
PK03 is very close to PK01. PK03 is just darker and mauvey-shhhh that can be your shade.
Go red with RD01. It's a nice lip color for day to night.
Not the red shade that yells attention to people in the streets. 😀

5. Maybelline Peachy Glow blush
I hope you find this easy to follow. I'll be uploading two more looks that you can create using the palette and lipstick in this post later for your reference.
TIP #2: For the Maybelline lip flush, it'll pronounce dry parts of your lips upon application, even the cracks (yikes)! Leave it for about 1-2 minutes and you'll noticed your lips feel more hydrated. You'll notice dry patches are less visible.
