Get the Peachy Vibe with Hayan Korea Slim Lipstick in No. L203

I never thought I will love lipsticks as much as I do now.  Before I only have hand-me-downs from my mom and now I have more lipsticks than her. *laughs*  I’ve been loving peach and corals the past few days while the rest are into reds and plums this fall season, but since we don’t have that season here in the country, I settle for this shade for daytime look.

I like the packaging of this lippie.  It is somewhat similar to a marking pen (a slimmer one), thus making it very easy to handle and apply the product on the lips.

Lip Swatch

Well, the stubborn me didn’t apply any lip balm prior to this so if you’re going to apply a lip treatment before applying this lipstick, the result is absolutely better.  It settles on the crevices of the lips tho, and as a solution, I apply thicker layers of lipstick to make it soemhow even.

Didn’t expect that the shade I got is a frosted one.  I only referred to the brochure so I didn’t have any idea at all.  I love frosted lipstick but I prefer it to be plain creamy or matte.   However, this is perfect for night gigs and parties as you can see when caught with flash.  The color is also buildable.

This photo was taken before I cut my hair short.  I have photos wearing this lipstick (newer ones) but I find the hue of the lipstick more noticeable here for your reference.  This was taken under direct day light, indoor.

OVERALL

Weighing pros and cons, I give it 3.5 out of 5.  I love this as my everyday lipstick color.  I always bring it with me so I don’t care much with retouching.
