We are finally in West Virginia, and trying to get settled in. I have a blogger that I wish that I got to meet while in AZ. I remember the first time that I was introduced to her. It was all thanks to Lauren from Pink on the Cheek. She was tweeting about how one of her friends was moving to AZ. I love meeting AZ bloggers. I lived in AZ for a year in a half, and it wasn't until the very end that I met a bunch of ladies.
I want to introduce you to Tausha..
1. Tell me about yourself.
Well, my name is Tausha, thus the name of my blog "Taush.O". That was actually my nickname long before Daniel Tosh became popular. He hasn't responded to my emails, but I think I have rights to it. I was born in Utah, spent most of my life in California & currently live in Arizona - my husband is in Dental School & I stay home to a firecracker of a daughter who just turned one. I love Sonic Slushies during Happy Hour, watching T.V. series, Twilight, anything that involves, glitter & burlap. I'm pretty easy going, wish I was more comical, but mostly just down to earth.
2. Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging 5 years ago while Chad and I were dating & living in California, both away from our families. I figured that instead of weekly emails & texts, I could just post what we were doing & they could get on and see. Its slowly evolved into my life. I have met some of the greatest people via blogging. I've learned about myself, my limits, my strengths. I can't imagine my life without my online life.
3. Biggest blogging fail.
Pretty much everyday. Haha. I feel like blogging is where I get to showcase everything that I AM failing at & not be judged for it.
4. Favorite Moment in blogging.
When I got to meet some of my favorite bloggers. Especially Erin from Living in Yellow. (J: btw.. I am so jealous of you.)We spent a greater part of the day together & then went out to dinner where I met some other pretty big bloggers. I was literally peeing my pants the entire time.
5. Piece of Advice to New bloggers
Be YOU. Numbers don't matter - content does. Sometimes I go a week without posting, because I'd rather post something good, then something mediocre. Don't waste your time with link-ups & stupid lists just to try and get a few followers. Thats for some people, but for me was a huge waste of time. When I don't even peek at my followers numbers & just write from the heart - that's when the numbers jump.
Thanks girl!! I love all the advice. She is one of the most real and authentic mommy bloggers I know. I love her little girl, and want to have her!!!
