Ghar Bistro Cafe Is A Grand Hookah Party Place for Y-Gen

Ghar Bistro Cafe in Rajouri Garden is a unique concept. And works with a unique strategy too. During 1 pm to 6 pm, it is party time for the younger generation. So it is all about a big screen, DJ, loud music, fun, dance, and Hookah. And then the concept changes completely after evening. Then it becomes as calm and decent as a house. In fact, it becomes a family place. And during this period, there are no Hookahs. Strategically, this dual contrast concept seems to be quite practical and gel well with the name of the restaurant. Ghar (or Home) becomes a fun point during the day and quite serious during the night. Well, imagine the same guys visiting the same place during the daytime and having hookahs with the friends. And again visiting with their parents during the night for a sober dinner.

Ghar Bistro Cafe is a small place. As small as a normal home can be. Each sitting area is an equivalent of a room. like there is a bedroom, sitting room, and so on. Overall, there are 4 key sitting areas. The daytime at this restaurant is also popular for kitty parties, music, fun, and games like Tambola. So it is also a good place for women during the day. The liquor license is yet to arrive. And who knows the strategy might change after that. Though service might take some time to mature up, food is one of the strongholds here. Right now, I feel Ghar Bistro Cafe is passing through an experimenting phase. And in fact, there is no harm in that. That is how you optimize. There are multiple cuisines like North Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, Asian, and Continental. This is a mid-budget restaurant.

Ghar Bistro Cafe tries to make you feel at home. The nomenclature of dishes is quite innovative and it will really take some time to align name with the real dish. Like Chikna Murg Tikka Malai Mar Ke is nothing but Murg Malai Tikka. Well, this might look easy to you but all names are not like this. Like Choti Behen Se Zyaada Toofani Lasooni Tikka. But gradually if you see it becomes easier to understand the exact item you will be getting. The drinks section needs some improvement. I feel all are syrup base. Even the lemon tea had no fresh lemon for instance. And the same is the case with Fresh Lime Soda. The sanctity of Fresh Lime is lost when you use a syrup instead. But Green Tea was fabulous.

In fact, the reverse is the case with Starters in all sections. Like Moong Dal Ke Kebab and Nani Ka Nuskha Mirch Achari Chaska in veg are excellent. As a matter of fact, the names of the dishes are quite innovative, interesting, and exclusive. Ghar Ke Jamai Dahi Ke Kebab is also quite tasty. In non-veg starters, Chikna Murg Tikka Malai Mar Ke and Pind Se Aaya Sarson Ka Tikka from Indian starters were fabulous. And Drunken Chicken Pepper Salt from Chinese starters is equally good. Mitron Lo Khaaoo Khakra Masala is in the same lines of Papad Masala in Marathi dishes. The only difference is here it is Khakra as an innovation. Crispy Corn and Mushroom Pepper Salt is another tasty starter in Chinese section.

You can also try various Pizzas at Ghar Bistro Cafe. Overall, it is an interesting concept, journey, fun, and food here. It is really like a Ghar. The door keeps opening now and then. Cups hanging on the wall. Somehow the focus seems to be completely on providing and EXTREME fun element to the youth during 1 to 6. Families must think of visiting this place during these hours. After all, food is not the only thing that you look for while going to a restaurant. Hope to see this restaurant evolving with a different level of maturity and focus.
