The Grand Venice in Greater Noida is not merely a regular mall. It is beyond your imagination. In fact, it is a world in its own. And to witness the extreme beauty of this world, you need to visit this place. It was a pleasure to attend the launch of its food court Terrazzo. In fact, Terrazzo is the largest food court in Delhi NCR. When you visit this destination and witness the grand acrhitecture, you will find many amazing factors. Like, the amount of passion, love, research, design, quality, and effort in building it. That is why, I call it a destination or a tourist place. Rather than calling it just a mall to visit for shopping. The Grand Venice mall is purely on the European concept. Terrazzo, its food court has around 50,000 sq ft sitting for around 1300 visitors.

The Grand Venice Mall, in fact, is a befitting complement to KoD (Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon). Rathter, I would call it a gift to the people of Noida and Greater Noida. In fact, a large amount of projects aim to create a similar kind of atmosphere that you see in KoD. But in a larger manner. Currently many food outlets are operating from Terrazzo and more to come in a short period. Like, Kareem, Dashin Express, Long Noodles, Chicago Pizza, Moti Mahal, Ever Green Chaat Cafe, Grill Inn, Kulfian, and Bikgane Biryani are already operational here to serve good food to the visitors. The upcoming ones inclue Rolls King, Thaliwala, and China Wall to name a few. These restaurants and kiosks in the large enough food court adds a different kind of atmosphere to your fun and enjoyment.

Gandola rides, like the architecture, is another fantastic attraction of The Grand Venice. So, now you don’t need to travel to Europe to enjoy a gandola ride in a canal. The Venice is here in Greate Noida where you can travel by road rather than by air to admire the beauty. This Venetian architecture is surely going to win hearts. In fact, largest mall in Greater Noida and India’s only mall built on the lines of Italian city of Venice, is a must visit destination.

On the launch Satinder Singh Bhasin, Managing Director, The Grand Venice says, “We are excited to launch the largest Food Court in Delhi NCR. We believe in indulging our customers with not only the best cuisine but also high quality service and aesthetically pleasing decor. We look forward to hosting entertaining and exciting events at the Terrazzo like Handicrafts village: A unique showcase of craftsmen & artisans from across India demonstrating their skills & culture, State Emporia:A selection of state run emporiums. As a matter of fact, The Grand Venice, India’s first Venetian Mega Tourist Destination in Delhi-NCR brings to life a perfect blend of Magic, Mystery, Romance with Architecture of Venice. The design inspiration comes from the European concept malls in Las Vegas and Macau. The mall, in fact, is spread across 3.2 million square feet. Some of the most fabulous attractions here are replica of Leaning Tower of Pisa, attractive Gondola Boat Rides on water canals inside the mall and musical fountain and light towers and Cinepolis Cinemas.

“The Grand Venice has been designed as per international standards. It introduces the unique concept of Venetian architecture. ‘The Grand Venice’ brings alive themagic of Venice in India, making it modern India’s first mega Tourist destination.” says Ms. Queency Bhasin, CEO, The Grand Venice.

Ms. Bhasin further adds “The Grand Venice has something on offer for everybody! From toddlers to grandparents, we haveentertainment options that span generations and bring people together. Hollywood and Bollywood themed events, world class performances and music, art, food festivals – we have all the aspects of culture covered. Expect a never ending series of horizon broadening events for your entertainment only. The Grand Venice will have a variety of eventsand promotions at any given day. Each week will see a different themed event at the mall. Lifestyle clubs, hi-tech games and a bowling alley ensure that adults have a plethora of leisure options. The Grand Venice will also be the hub of cultural events, brand promotions, product launches, movie screenings and live shows.

The latest in entertainment at the Multiplex, Cinepolis which have a capacity of more than 1000 seats. The Grand Venice will have over 30 fine dining options, bars and food outlets for every taste spread over 200,000 square feet going forward.”

To me, security and safety appears to be the biggest risk at such places. Especially, when there is a high inflow of people. Firstly, I feel the presence of a control room in such locations. The control room must have multiple screens to display real time activities of all the cameras. There has to be an in-built mechanism to automatically raise an alert in case of any abnormality or anomaly. In case of any mishap, the safety section must know how many people are actually there inside the building, may be floor wise. I am not sure if The Grand Venice has actually taken care of such issues with the help of technological advancements or not.
