I was planning to have a new hair color for my birthday until last month, I was so lucky to be one of the winners of Monica, Impression of A Princess from her giveaway with Aaron Yoo Salon. Winners got to choose the service they wanted to avail, either Digital Perm or Color Treatment, of course I chose the latter.
They have two branches I believe, one at Ace Hotel and the other one in Escriva Drive, Ortigas (where we went). We had our treatment last Holy Week (not surprising they had operations since it’s a Korean Salon).

It still feels like Christmas in their salon with all those decorations outside. The place is indeed spacious. I asked one of the hairdressers and he said it’s always full during regular days. Good thing we were requested to go there on holidays. Love that waiting area outside and the clean feeling of the place.
The interior looks very simple and elegant. I love the black and white theme and those really huge mirrors. Didn’t have a hard time to take some selfies! Oh and by the way, when we were there, a soon-to-be PBB Housemate had his hair makeover, I just forgot his name (not so good with names).
Hello there Monica ^_^! She’s the one on the left taking a photo of me with Mr. Aaron Yoo while I was having my hair consultation. I said I want a shade lighter but still looks presentable. I’m really afraid to try light hair colors that’s why I always go for medium brown, auburn, or copper. This time, it’s light brown with reddish highlights!
Application of the base color, light brown.
Oh hey! I just noticed I have long lashes even without mascara! *happydance*
After a few minutes, they applied the highlights. It’s actually my first time to have some highlights goin’ on mah hurr!
Then after more or less an hour, here’s the before and after!

Ohh, let me take a selfie! LOL (unedited for hair color reference)
I honestly had a 50-50 relationship with my hair color during the first week. I’m not really used to light colored hair. Sometimes I think I look dark because of it, sometimes I look whiter? What kind of conspiracy is this?! Then later on, I started loving it and maybe I can try one shade lighter on my next treatment, what do you think?
Overall, I love the salon experience at Aaron Yoo. The staff there is really nice and the fact that the owner himself attended to my treatment made me feel awesomesauce! If only any of their branches is near my place, I would definitely go back and try their other services.
With Mr. Aaron Yoo, Monica, and Lovelyn (the other winner)
I would like to thank Monica of Impressions of a Princess and Aaron Yoo salon for this opportunity to have a free makeover! I remembered my last hair color treatment was also a prize from a giveaway. Who’s that lucky girl uh huh? The other winner had her Digiperm Treatment. I wanted to try that too but my hair is still short, maybe next time!
