Through the wire...
Welcome to Holborn Viaduct and once again the City of London where the highway engineers from the city have been very busy strengthening renovating the viaduct.
What is a new addition to the viaduct is the line of anti-ram bollards. These bollards will not be ornate and certainly don't mark a boundary, they'll be sleeved (a cover placed over them) but be under no illusion they are here to stop a serious accident or even an act of terror.
The picture (above) was taken in front of the wire fence the picture (below) was taken by a gap behind the wire where we can clearly see a beautiful line of bollards tapering away from us.

Not often I (@Johnthecabby on the twitter and the vine) get to place a #guestbollard on my own blog but here is one (above) that I actually found while dropping a fare off in Battersea Park.
