Here is my facial mask. It looks gross... but it's not meant to be eaten. You put it on your face!
~About 6 to 10 grapes (any color)
~2 teaspoons of raw honey
~2 tablespoons of coconut oil
~1/3 to 1/4 cup of milk
~1 packet of Knox gelatin
~1 egg
Start off with two cloves, chop them up and put them in a food processor or a puree cup. If you get some garlic smell on your hands, and you will get a garlic smell on your hands, just rub your hands on a silverware spoon. It should absorb the smell. Pluck the grapes off the vine, or stems, and rinse them off. You always want to give your fruit a good rinse before using them. Just put them in the puree cup/food processor. You don't need to do anything to the grapes. Next, put in the honey and the coconut oil. I always roughly measure because I hate getting out the teaspoons and measuring cups. Also, I was creating the recipe as I went, so I didn't really use measuring cups or measuring spoons. It wall by eye and it worked out perfectly! Then add in the milk and the gelatin then PUREE! or PROCESS! This is what is looks like after it is pureed. If you don't want little flakes of grape peel in there, you can always peel the grapes before. To me, the peel holds more vitamins, and when slashed and cut open, it releases more vitamins. Your choice. Next, add in the egg. Yolk and all. Not the shell, obviously. You can either stir it with a fork, or puree it. I pureed it to make the job easier. Put saran wrap over the cup, chill in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes. Then slab some on your face. It is still a bit drippy, so I would put it on over the sink. That is what I did. And here are the results. Your face will smell like garlic for a little while. It's not a bad smell... but it does get old after a little while. It makes your face BEAUTIFUL! The garlic helps smooth it, adds antioxidants, and helps with acne; the coconut oil adds moisture and helps with acne, it had a healing agent in it so it helps with scars and scrapes; the egg smooths and adds moisture; the grapes help with acne; the honey helps restore antioxidants; The gelatin helps build up collagen, which helps smooths and prevents wrinkles; The milk helps with acne and evening out skin tone. (all I did to the picture was change the color tint.) You shouldn't use this mask everyday, because you can dry out your face. DO NOT ADD MORE THAN TWO CLOVES OF GARLIC! If you are obsessed with the smell of garlic, get a garlic candle or smell the clove. DO NOT ADD MORE! There is a chemical in garlic called Allicin. Allicin is good for you! But if you add too much garlic-allicin and apply it directly to your face, it can cause burning. Also, please red the ingredients carefully before making this mask. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients, do not use the mask or please leave that ingredient out. You are fairly warned! :) This mask is harmless. :)
