Hello and happy Friday to you, dear friends! It’s been raining hard this week and my ears seemed to have gone weary of listening to the raindrops. The sound of the rain crashing on the ground and the cool weather also makes my bed more inviting. I hope you are all safe from any weather disturbance and that you had a great week!
Well anyway, my friend Anne, who happens to be a wonderful writer and who blogs over at Writer’s Space, tagged me and prepared some questions for me to answer. But like what I always do, I’ll break the tagging rules once more and I’ll be answering only the first half and then posting about my responses to the rest of her questions next week… Because I know I’m not Meagan Fox and people wouldn’t probably be as intrigued to find out what my answers are and would instead be bored to death by the lengthy post should I plan to proceed with the traditional tagged post LOL
Let’s start with the Q & A, shall we? ;-)
What gives you a lot of energy during the day? I’ll have to say coffee. I am a coffee drinker and I am extremely dependent on coffee to help me stay alert during the day. Without coffee, I’m slow as a slug and my lethargic state will keep me from being productive.
What place would you visit if money or time was not a problem? I would love to go on a pilgrimage to the Vatican! And then visit the rest of Europe after that.
What is your most embarrassing moment? Okay here goes… (this happened when I was still in med school)… *deep breath*… walking down the street unaware that the zipper of my skirt was open. And then I get inside the medicine building and a guy friend noticed that it was open. Thank God I was wearing cycling shorts underneath my skirt. Could anything get even more embarrassing than that?
What do you consider your most prized possession? Oh can I say my blog? I would probably get depressed if something goes wrong with Blogger eventually leading to my blog getting deleted. I consider everything in this blog a treasure – my writing, my pics, the design – because everything is a product of hardwork. This blog helped improved my writing and it inspired me to be more artistic.
What is your worst pet peeve? I have a very personal answer to this question. It is when people judge depression / anxiety to be a sign of weakness. I suffer depression and anxiety and even take pills to help calm my nerves. I completely understand that the reason people say that is ignorance. But it gets annoying when people get judgmental without even trying to learn the facts behind the disorders. Ignorance is forgivable. But being judgmental is not.
What is the ONE thing you CANNOT leave the house without? My eyeglasses or contact lenses. I am near-sighted and a bit astigmatic and I need a clear vision most especially when I go out alone and have to commute.
Well, that’s it for now. Thanks so much for reading! God bless. :-)
