I Feel Like a Doll! | Crystal Color Contact Lens in Peridot Brown

Posted on the 23 August 2013 by Genzelkisses

It has been more than a year since my last contact lens review.  I’ve been wearing lenses since I was in college for aesthetic purposes only that’s why it’s very seldom that I wear them.  Mostly, I wear lenses during events at school or whenever I have to perform and such activities.  You can read my Flex Wear in Henna Brown post here.

I can’t use contact lenses with grade now since my other eye has astigmatism and the other one has a different issue.  So today, here’s my take on a new pair of contact lenses that I’m so excited to share with you!  I got them in plain (plano 0.00).

I love brown contact lenses.  I’m not really into head-turning designs since I just wanted them to look natural on my eyes.  It’s actually my first time to try bigger size of contact lenses, 15mm. I normally go for 14mm or the normal size of contact lenses.

I was honestly amazed how it transformed my look from  simple one to a doll-like or glamorous gal just by using this pair of lenses.  I also wore falsies from Daiso (Japan Store) to add more drama to the eyes.

✿ Design

It looks natural for me, if these were 14mm diameter, I believe it will look even more natural.  It doesn’t have that super special designs that you can see on some lenses.  It’s wearable anywhere even in meetings or formal events as it just enhances the eyes and your look.

✿  Color

Peridot Brown.  When it comes to contact lenses, I go for brown.  I’ve tried, purple, amethyst, and gray to name a few but I find myself looking better with brown.

✿  Enlargement

15mm in diameter which is bigger than regular lenses.  I find it hard to put on my eyes at first but thankful was able to manage it.

✿  Comfort

Well, this is what matters most.  Just this time I realized, I should’ve gone for 15mm lenses than 14mm.  It’s bigger therefore I can see clearly.  Before with 14mm lenses, sometimes the design blocks my vision.  I thought it’s just normal but then now that I’ve used this, I think I prefer 15mm.  BUT, I still want 14mm if won’t be wearing falsies.

I also didn’t experience any itchy feeling or burning sensation.  Honestly, it’s just too small percentage you’ll feel you’re wearing lenses and that’s a plus!

✿  Overall

I love it!, this lens particularly.  It makes me look like a doll that I couldn’t help to take a lot of selfie photos *laughs*  This is perfect for parties, events, or whenever you want to feel all-glam’d up!
