I Took the Maybelline White Superfresh #UltiMatteFaceOff Challenge!

Posted on the 24 February 2016 by Genzelkisses

I've been using Maybelline White Super Fresh for months now. I even hosted a for you guys! I got a few shades and the best one that matches my skintone is Natural. However, I think it'll be closer with Sand Beige but I wasn't able to get my hands on that shade yet.

As a loyal consumer, I even recommend it to my makeup students, especially those who are on a budget but wanted something that will last on their faces, bonus is the UV protection of SPF 34 PA+++. To take myself to a next level fan of this product, I decided to take the Maybelline White Super Fresh #UltiMatteFaceOff Challenge!

Here's the kit I got during a Maybelline event I attended (soon on my channel!)

The kit includes:
3 Unnamed brands of face powders
Maybelline White Super Fresh Powder
Spray Bottle to be filled with water to stimulate sweat and oil on the face

Step 1: Spray water on Brand XYZ to stimulate sweat and oil on your face.
Step 2: Spray water on White Superfresh.

Take a look at brands X Y Z, there's very little to no absorption of water sprayed. Have you ever experienced using a powder and then after a few hours, you see it faded on some parts of your face, then the areas where the product stayed look cakey and your whole face look like a large canvass of white patches? Oh I had that moment before, I know how it feels *sigh*

Now look at Maybelline White Superfresh, it absorbed everything we sprayed. I actually sprayed a few times more on the White Superfresh than the other 3 powders but look! It seems like nothing happened at all.

To better test the product, I did wear the White Superfresh for 12 hours straight with no retouch.

Left Photo: Taken at 1PM after my work at home. Then I head on to my makeup client for her prom. Her house doesn't have AC and it was too hot that day. I was honestly worried as to how will I look especially I'm with a makeup client. I didn't put any primer or base prior to the Superfresh to test it even better and know how long lasting it really is without the help of primers or makeup bases.

Right Photo: Taken after 12 hours. Yes, I really waited until the next day 1am to capture this photo. As you can see, the White Superfresh has already faded on some areas of my skin but my face still looks decent. I didn't use any concealer underneath so you can see the pimple mark near my lips already.

Btw, I am wearing Maybelline Creamy Matte in Touch of Spice on that photo above. It's pretty long-lasting too.

So who's the winner now?
Maybelline White Super Fresh Powder of course!

Fact: I had a makeup student who is also a fan of this and had finished 1 compact and 3 more refills of this product! Amazing! She saids she likes WSF because, it's very easy to apply, love the coverage and it lasts longer.

The one I'm using is the Maybelline White Superfresh in No. 3 Natural
It comes in different shades (I think 2-3 more shades), so don't forget to check out your nearest Maybelline counters and swatch this baby to check which one matches your skintone.

Let me know if you've tried this before and how was it!
I also dare you to take the#UltiMatteFaceOff Challenge and win exciting prizes!
