I’ve been upgrading my lipstick collection lately and this Zoeva Luxe Cream Lipstick is a new addition to the family. I test out my lipsticks first before I use them on my clients. I’m totally amazed with this lipstick from Zoeva! With its price tag and quality, its performance can even exceed those high-end ones!

Packaging:
This product is an epitome of luxury from the box to the lipstick itself. The box and lipstick tube are of the same color, grayish / metallic / glossy. Very minimalist yet elegant. Everything you need to know about the lipstick is printed on the box. It has great retractable mechanism, you don’t have to worry if your lipstick will touch the inside part of the tube or will get damaged even if you it twist it really fast. What I really like is the magnetic click or attachment. It’s my first time to have a lipstick that snaps beautifully like this. You might have seen it in my Zoeva Haul Video.

Zoeva Luxe Cream lipsticks are available in 6 colors. They have nudes, corals, pink, and red. I chose no. 05 Floral crown. It looks peachy-pink to me that looks perfect from fair to morena skin tone.
Formula/Texture:
From the name itself, luxe cream, it has a very nice creamy texture that glides smoothly on the lips. It doesn’t bleed and doesn’t make your lips dry. It’s still best to use lip balm prior to this but you’ll still be fine even with just the lipstick alone. It has the normal lipstick scent but very mild, you won’t even notice unless you sniff the lippie.
Pigmentation is excellent! One swipe gives you a ton of color already. You can add more layers if you want it totally opaque. Since I wear this at day time, I’m not comfortable wearing really bold lipstick so, 1 swipe is enough for me (please refer to the photo above).
I only applied one layer of the lipstick on my lips in this photo. If you’re aiming for total coverage I suggest to use a lip brush for a well-defined, opaque color. I started wearing it around 12 noon. I arrived to the event around 3PM (yeah from south to north), and the color pay-off still looks great. Then after I ate a lot (pasta, chicken, desserts), I was surprised that the lipstick is still there! It faded a little but it’s not noticeable at all so I just dabbed the lipstick around 3x just to add color.
This photo is taken around 10pm, so that’s freakin 10 hours and look at my lips! It’s not just a tint that’s left on there. The lipstick still looks fine for me. It has faded in some areas but, it’s still there. Please excuse my haggard face haha. I also didn’t retouch my makeup since 12noon that’s why. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you’ll know that I can be the laziest person when it comes to retouching. So I really prefer makeups that are long lasting.
Overall, I’m totally in love! For me, it’s worth around 2-3x its price considering the quality. P554.00 for this? Now I wanted to get all the colors! It’s the only lipstick that I currently have in my kikay kit these days, that how I love this product. Zoeva Luxe Cream lipstick is impeccable. It’s very creamy, great pigmentation, long-wearing, nice packaging, and affordable. Tell me now, what more can I ask for?
