Few weeks ago, I was invited to the official of the new mascara in town that promises 10x volume and 2x curl just in one application! If you’ve loved L’Oreal mascaras, you’ll definitely love their new, Miss Manga by False Lash! Before we get on to my review, let me give you snippets from the event.
The event was held in WhiteSpace Makati. Everything is so kawaii including ladies wearing the Miss Manga hairstyle!

While waiting for the main event to start, we had our makeover. We can either go to Cute Doll Room or Flirty Doll Room. I wanted to have my makeover at Flirty Doll but the seats were all occupied.
I always enjoy this kind of makeup spread for my makeup clients but it feels different if you’re the one sitting on that makeup chair!

Facts:
Caucasian lashes are rounded on the roots and tips but are flat (eliptical) in the middle, resulting to natural curl.
Asian lashes are rounded all throughout, resulting in a straight, downward pointed line.

This new mascara is made for Asian Lashes! It gives instant effect of 10x Volume and 2x curl in just one coat! It’s also long-wearing, 24hr long-lasting and 12hr sweat-proof!
The main secret? It’s patented conic arched brush that has thin tip to catch short and bottom lashes, curling the lashes from the roots. I love this brush! Now, it’s very easy to reach those shorter lashes and apply mascara on my lower lash line without smearing on my hands or face.

My lashes are naturally straight and pointing downwards. No mascara has ever made them look like that in the after photo (yes, even Miss Manga or high-end ones, you name it) without using an eyelash curler. It may lift them a bit but not the way like in the photo which I love.
I am blessed to have thick and long bottom lashes. My upper lashes are pretty long too but they are straight and aren’t naturally curled, so a great mascara is my best friend. As you can see, Miss Manga works made my lashes look thicker (volumized) in just one coat. They didn’t end up like spiders, no clumping as well. For its longevity, I can say it lasts and holds the curl the whole day. I didn’t bother to re-curl them. It’s not advisable to curl your lashes after you applied mascara because the hairs might stick into the curler and strip-off all your lashes! If ever you’ll be doing it, please be extra careful.
For improvement, I would love if Miss Manga adds more length too! It’s water-, sweat-, and smudge-proof. It lengthens the lashes a bit but not that much. I hope they can work on that when they got a chance to improve the formulation.
I recommend these to both Asian or non-Asian women who want full lashes. If you already have long lashes, it can give you that oomph and volume that you need for that perfect doll eyes look like Miss Manga’s! It’s affordable for only P500.00 (intro price until May 31st – original price is P599.00). My lashes are stubborn, if yours aren’t, this can curl your lashes without using a lash curler.
