Introducing, Glory of New York

I was one of the lucky bloggers who were invited last week for the Glory of New York Launch. I’ve been digging to try their products ever since I’ve heard of the brand. The name itself carries sophistication with a promising vision towards the world of beauty. The brand has been in the business for years already and they just penetrated the beauty industry of our country.

The event was held at Bauhinia Tower Penthouse, Tivoli Garden Residences, Mandaluyong City. I am from the province of Cavite and knowing the traffic here in the country. It took me more or less two hours to get to the venue. I met my blogger friend Celline of Product Arena at Robinsons, Pioneer and we rode a cab to get there since we’re like newbies still when it comes to Manila

Just like in any other event, they let us fill our stomachs first *laughs* The food was great mind you.

Their foundation is the bomb! If only not for the price, I would get myself one that very moment. I’ve been hearing and reading raves about them too. Their lip liners are also promising based on the reviews.

I want to hoard their lipsticks. Can you imagine a lipstick that would last up the entire day even with eating and drinking? Yes, that is possible with GNY lippies. Proven when I noticed Celline’s liptick lasted the entire event until we got home! Uhhhmmazziing! I feel so lucky and thankful that Ms. Larissa (Vice President) let us grab a pop of whatever shade we like! *wink*

I’ve swatched their eyeshadows and they are amazingly pigmented, love love love the color pay off! I’ve also read that the lasting power of these powders is great. The packaging is really classic and elegant.

Their body sprays smells nice! It reminds me of Victoria’s Secret perfumes. I’ve also read great feedback with their skincare line.

One of the great things about GNY is that they don’t just cater cosmetics and skincare products for ladies but they also have innovative products for the opposite. Aside from those, they also have other products to treat particular condition such as loss of hair, stretchmarks, personal products for men and women, to name a few.

Summary of what I’ve learned

❥ They are organic products. Their items has no expiration date but they still put expiration dates to their packaging as pursuant to the rules of beauty industry of a certain country. Here in the Philippines, the maximum is 3 years while in some countries is up to 5 years.

❥ Their packaging is well-studied. It’s not your ordinary packaging. They were made to protect the product’s quality due to exposure to changing temperature and humidity. Great right? I know. *wink*

❥ Their products are suitable for all skin types (dry, oily, combination, etc.). They are also 100% effective as they were being tested by them before they distribute it to the market.

❥ Not Tested on Animals *thumbs up!*

❥ Made in the USA. Their products are manufactured by their parent company, ACI Pharm Inc.

❥ They are present globally. Their headquarter is in New York City, NY, USA. They are present in 60 countries (where all are being independently operated and owned by Glory of New York).
