Isn't It Ironic?

An irrelevant photo of me (hehe) taken in July 2010

Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD. – Proverbs 16:20
On Wednesday I felt what to me appeared to be signs of an impending viral infection…My muscles were aching…I felt weakness in my body…There was a discomfort in my throat…And all I could think of was lying down on my bed, resting, and sleeping the whole day.But I knew I needed to catch up on a lot of things… on life…So I took an analgesic to hopefully relieve the feelings of discomfort…And go on with the activities I planned for the day.I also drank cold water thinking that it could be the extreme heat that’s causing my symptoms.
So there I went… sat in front of my laptop and then started with my readings. But man, my discomfort wouldn’t seem to go away.I thought it would be best to drink more cold water to cool my body…But my body was suggesting to me that if I take in more cold water, I might feel worse…And instead, it craved for hot noodles…So in order to satisfy such craving, I went to a nearby store to buy instant cup noodles…
Isn't It Ironic?

The hot and humid weather making me sweat…My brain was actually wondering, Hot noodles in summer? You gotta be kidding me!But my body strongly felt that that’s what it needed at that moment. So without further hesitation, I ate up my cup noodles!Isn't It Ironic?
Isn't It Ironic? And after consuming all the contents of one small cup…Hey, I felt some relief!Plus, it tasted really good (thanks to the monosodium glutamate lol) and I truly enjoyed it up to the last drop!Yum! Hehe

I’m not really sure if that made any sense at all…But what I’m certain of is that life is so full of ironies…Ironies that make life funny and more interesting…And sometimes difficult to comprehend…But I guess what these ironies are trying to teach me is to just accept them as they happen..To just let life be…And to remind myself that these are all part of God’s Master Plan for my life.
Hmmm…Ironic how a small cup of noodles on a scorching hot summer day can teach me something like that…Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it somehow.God bless.:-)
