wake up, mommy. i need to go to the washroom!
“Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can.” – Danny KayeI am learning to love the early morning hours. As early as 3am...Where the rest of this part of the world is busy dreaming and chasing rainbows in their sleep.Where the sun hasn’t risen and the sky still wrapped by the color of the night. That magical moment when my little pup would stand on his hind legs to get a glimpse of me on my bed.Telling me that he had to void and/or defecate. And that I should get up and let him out of my room.Lest I wake up to the foul smell of his *you know*…It leaves me with no choice. ;-)But don’t get me wrong… I’m not whining.Because I see it as a blessing.
Laid back…Calm…And spiritual…That’s how I want my day to start.Praying the rosary. Communicating with the Divine. feeling His heavenly presence.A very early breakfast. Rice, or yogurt, or oatmeal. Slowly chewed. Enjoyed. Savored. And then iced coffee without the ice. For a kick. To get my blood flowing.Followed by some quiet reading. Books. Or blogs. Or the Bible.Or sometimes brainstorming for blog ideas. While eating chips shared with my pup.(We, Filipinos, love to eat, you know *wink*)
And then I watch as the black sky gradually turns to blue...A lovely view right outside my window.
Pure bliss.
