I once tried getting eyelash extensions, I and thought it would be my first and last. What I didn't like that happened, my original lashes were almost gone and took me months to grow my full lashes back so I promised myself, " naa ahh, never again". Just find a nice mascara and make it my best friend.
Until my best friend, Vikki started raving about her new found home when it comes to her lash extensions. She's blessed with beautiful pair of eyebrows! So what she focuses on instead are her lashes. She tried different lash extension salons already but currently she is a regular customer at Ayumi Las Pinas.
I became so curious that I sent her private message on Facebook and started interviewing her about Ayumi and how is the experience with them. She says nothing but compliments. So okay, after working out in the gym in BF a few weekends ago, I went with her to Ayumi to get my eyelashes done t00, timing as I'll be in a vacation two days after. Yes, I enjoyed the No Curling, No Mascara days when I was in Baguio guys!
SALON INTERIOR
Let's start first with how I loved the interior of Ayumi Las Pinas. With the theme of pink, white, black and a touch of Japanese, the place is so cozy, dainty, and pretty!
It's air conditioned with 5 lazy boy chairs (I fell asleep while having my eyelashes done! So relaxing!) Those two small cherry blossom trees are my favorite!
SERVICES
Aside from Japanese Eyelash Extensions, they also have services like nail art, nail enhancement/extensions, waxing, and hand & foot spa. Above are just some of their own designs. Imagine these guys on your fingers, ahhh so pretty!
They also use branded and trusted products to their clients like Orly and OPI.
Vikki had her eyelashes retouched. You can choose from different designs or kind of lashes you want. What I remember, they have cute, sexy, and gorgeous (I forgot what the others are called). She chose Sexy while mine is Gorgeous (lashes).
I felt so excited to see the results. It was so relaxing having this procedure while sitting on a lazy boy chair. I fell asleep and the staff just woke me up and we're done!
BEFORE & AFTER
Check out my Before (Top) and After (Bottom) documentation.
My eyes look so bright and open!
Lashes are now thick, long, and naturally curled!
So pretty even in side view! Btw, this style is called Gorgeous.
They can help you decide with the design that you like.
So what are the DIFFERENCE between
Japanese Eyelash Extensions vs. Regular Lash Extensions?
♥ PAIN FREE
Ayumi uses a special glue that's hypoallergenic and doesn't hurt the eyes. It's very safe and even helps the lashes grow.
♥ DOES NOT DAMAGE REAL LASHES
This is my main concern as I lost my lashes when I had my first eyelash extensions from a different salon. With Ayumi eyelash extentions, after two weeks, the fake lashes fell but I still have my full, original eyelashes. "di siya nakalbo guys!"
♥ EASY TO MAINTAIN
It feels so light-weight like you're not wearing extensions at all. You can go back to the salon and have a retouch after 2-3 weeks depending on your lifestyle. The more your eyes are exposed to oil (like from makeup) and sweat (if you regularly workout), the earlier you'll need for retouch.
♥ CLOSE TO REAL HUMAN HAIR
It looks so natural. The strands and curl of each strand are very close to your original lashes.
♥ DIFFERENT TECHNIQUE
They use different technique and their staff is well-trained in handling eyelashes.
♥ NO ITCH & STING
Since they use a different technique and hypoallergenic materials (imported from Japan), you won't experience itching and stinging sensation. They also educate their clients with proper care and maintenance of their lashes.
Some may find them a little expensive compared to other salons but it's for a reason. I suggest to try their services and see for yourself. I confidently recommend Ayumi Las Pinas to you guys!
Ayumi Las Pinas is located at Unit E-1, Ground Floor Emerald Green Building C.V. Starr Avenue, Pamplona. It's in front of Puregold. Parking is a little challenge in the area but you can also park in front of Puregold. For appointment, just call (02) 964 - 0133.
