i was wondering how social networking sites have taken a great toil on our lives. we used to call our best buddies through entering a string of numbers which we memorised by heart, and also how much expression can be found via speech rather than just plain text, and of course i kept journals in paper form rather than being saved on a server through “air” medium.
and with so much social network sites, and companies available, i find it hard to imagine how people can maintain a twitter, facebook, wordpress, blogger, instagram, tumblr, etc. all at the same time, with different updates daily for each site. i mean, i know some can be linked… but still, it”s hard to imagine the amount of time spent.
i, for one, barely have enough time to even do updates here, of more than just posting a picture occasionally, and my other social network sites are almost dormant.
i really wonder how those people do it… need to take some tips.
