K(C)anteen!

Well..This post is dedicated to my college's K-Block Canteen..No!We dont have A to J..Its just named K!Kanteen,maybe!
About a year ,including all the bunks,public holidays, Saturdays, Sundays,it has been,since I enrolled myself in the Engineering course.

Day1,we had what we call a campus tour..A 111 acre campus tour..Pity our legs,you!And for lazy bums like me..how difficult it would have been,Imagine!All the academic blocks,the botanical garden,the animal house blah..blah.. was covered but F-O-o-D! 45 minutes and they didn't talk about the K(C)anteen!That should be probably the first thing people (like me) would be wishing to see!
Finally..at the 55th minute.."This is the Technology Canteen!",uttered a gentleman.Technology canteen..not that it had all the powerful and amazing features through which you could order and a robot like thing will serve you!But,it was meant for the to-be-engineers,so the term TECHNOLOGY! Technology, shouldn't have been the name,I guess!I could see more number of people,with posters,banners etc. explaining to the freshers(rather boasting) about their clubs!
Yess..Lets talk about the Technology alias K-Block Canteen!They say,"First Impression Is the Last Impression"..and alas!It failed to impress me!The building was quite good and decent..!Like, the architecture and all..but you were definitely not going to fill up your empty stomachs with cement & concrete,I guess!You step inside,right side-the dry nashta,left side-The coupon counter.You feel as if you are jolted off by a mob!
"Uncle..Ek Lays""Uncle...Uncle..Ek coke..Aa nai uncle..pelu waalu"(Gujarati! :D )"Arey Uncle..kab se kahdi hu..!Kaha hai mera coupon?"
UGH!
Four more steps and you experience what you call the amalgamation of smells! Yuk...The Noodles,the Choley-Baturey..The Paneer-Tikka..The Samosas..!Eww...I thought,they had forgotten to put up some chimneys!Adding to this..the people..!Not a single table was vacant..plus the rubbish sound of people shouting unnecessarily!                                                   
About a year ,including all the bunks,public holidays,saturdays,sundays,it has been,since I started my Engineering course,BUT I've never again dared to step into this K(C)anteen!No matter,how much,my friends spend up their energy convincing me,I'll not!Never!When you can enjoy the Maa ke haath ke bana hua khana,peacefully,right below the open sky,why trouble yourself!I dont, at all, blame the hostelites!I understand you,because I've tasted your Hostel ka bana khana!
