Korean Grocer Moved Virtual Shopping in Subway

Technology has changed everything including the way people shop in grocery. Usually people go to grocery to buy some foods, but in Korea, just using QR Code Scanner app, they needn't go to the grocery physically themselves. Home Plus, the 2nd largest grocery chain in Korea, formerly Tesco, has created a technology to increase their market share without building stores. The idea is simple, they build a screen with various picture of their products in subway. To buy the product, people just could snap the picture by using their QR Code Scanner app installed in their smartphone. After that, the product they snapped will be delivered to their home.
As you can see by the video below,  the result is tremondously over 100.000 people visiting the virtual mall of Home Plus using smartphones. New registered members rose 76% and online sales grew 130%.
