Raminder Malhotra knows a lot about Ayurveda. And that is why the constituents of spices he uses vary according to the season. And even the proportions of spices also very accordingly. Laat Saab is a newborn starting last December only. It has been hardly three months of its existence in Gardens Galleria Mall in Sector 38, Noida. But it seems to be quite popular as we could see families visiting here to dine in. The reason behind this name is to treat customer over and above everything. The customer here must get super special treatment. That is the prime goal at Laat Saab. Raminder has ample success stories before launching this restaurant. One of the prominent restaurant by Raddison group is his baby in terms of conception, naming, and successful launch.

Ambiance and decor at Laat Saab take you back to the English era, the pre-independence period. The place is spacious enough to accommodate around 60-70 persons concurrently. There are few salient features that need a mention here. Unlike many other hookah bars, if you want to smoke you have to take a table outside. In outside area, there are around 8 tables. Hence families and kids can enjoy food inside without any glitches of dense hookah fumes thereby spoiling their dining experience. Liquor lovers will have to wait as the license is under approval till the elections in UP are over and new state government takes over the reigns.

Like ambiance and decor, food is also fabulous in taste, presentation, and preparation. The journey beginning with starters to the main course to desserts goes through tasty rides. There are two ways of going to the restaurant once you enter from the main gate of the mall. Adjacent to the mall security check entry, there are stairs outside to go straight to the restaurant. Otherwise, enter the mall, take the escalator to the first floor. And then look for CCD (Cafe Coffee Day). There is an exit just near to CCD to reach the restaurant.   Other salient features include Chuski Bar, Paan Counter, and hot beverages’ availability. Few of the dishes derive from South Indian recipes. Not to miss veg starters are Dahi ke Kebab and Hazratganj Sabz Galouti Kebab. Similarly, in non-veg section, must try relishing starters are Grill Fish Amritsari, Chicken 65, and Videshi Chicken Tikka. As a matter of fact, both the veg starters are extra soft and delicious. I could not resist finishing the masala of Chicken 65. In the main course, Paneer Lababdaar is fantastic. And so is Dal Tadka. In the non-veg main course, Pepper Chicken Chettinadu, Meat Belliram, and Authoritywala Meat were equally delicious. If you are a rice fan, do try Darjeeling Chutneywale Rice. In the bread section, you will like Chur Chur Stuff Kulcha and Missi Roti that is my all time favorite. And finally, if we talk about desserts at Laat Saab, Chocolate Kulfi, Paan Kulfi, and Malai kulfi are good to close your sumptuous treat.
