All was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun. Ecclesiastes 2:11
Rewind. Last Friday. I was delighted for a few hours of sunshine… The kind I missed because it has been raining heavily for the past couple of days… And I was stuck indoors with no other choice but to listen to the roaring thunder… As I waited for the weather disturbance to pass… Until I can finally head outdoors to gratify my photography addiction.
Without a second thought… I grabbed my trusty point-and-shoot Sony Cybershot. The next moment… My slippers were already touching our backyard’s cemented ground… Still wet and smelling like rain water. And my eyes caught the sun’s rays peeping in between the leaves of the Indian mango tree… And I clicked away to my heart’s content.
I walked through the house’s doorway leading to the kitchen… My little photographer soul overjoyed for capturing little things basking under natural light.
And soon enough… It started raining hard again.
