You probably know already about Pixy Cosmetics as I’ve unboxed an exclusive Pixy Cosmetics beauty box from BDJ Box last April and attended the BDJ Box Beauty Soiree with Pixy. Last August 6th, Pixy finally arrives here in our country. They have been contributing to beauty in Japan, Indonesia, and Malaysia, and now Philippines.
Pixy Cosmetics is formulated in Japan and manufactured in Indonesia. The makeup-line aims to flatter skin tones and perfect the skin. I’m such a believer of Japanese products and I’m so happy to know that Pixy is a Japanese-formulated brand.
The Grand Launch was held at Whitespace, Makati. It’s a huge venue and I am just so astounded with how pretty the theme of the event was! I felt like I was in Japan! Cherry blossoms and pink cuteness overload all over the place. I was in heaven guys, my pink haven!
The event started with the introduction of our pretty host for the day, Ms. Patty Laurel-Filart (not in the photo). Then the makeup tutorial/demo was conducted by Ms. Xeng Zulueta, a makeup artist for 12 years and one of the 14 International Elite Artists. The first look was a wearable everyday look, of course, using Pixy products.
The second look, on a different model, was a night look. She also shared tips on applying makeup using Pixy products.
Now let me give you a tour of the event. I just can’t get over with how pretty the place was. This made me wanna take home even just one cherry blossom tree! *grins*
Look at this very nice corner! So Japanese!
Pixy carries a complete line of cosmetics from foundations to lipsticks. Before, I wonder why they don’t have any concealer and now I know the answer. Their foundations have really nice coverage that can cover imperfections of the skin.
Lipsticks! I now have 7 shades of their lippies in different finishes (Matte, Semi-matte, and Satin). I’ll be publishing a separate post on their lipsticks for review and swatches.
For the powder foundations, they have UV Whitening 2-way Cake Perfect Matte, Ultimate Makeup Cake, and Perfect Fit. I am totally in love with the Perfect Matte in Yellow Ochre (got the refill size), it’s a staple in my everyday kikay kit. They also have waterproof mascara (my most fave product from evaaah!), liquid eyeliner, blushes, and eyeshadows.
Pixy, truly asian beauty, is a nice makeup brand especially for those who want great quality and price. We Filipinas are huge fans of natural makeup which can be achieved using Pixy cosmetics. Another great thing about this brand, their products are very much affordable, wearable, and easy to use. If you’re starting to build your own kikay kit, you should check their products out!
If you happen to use any Pixy products you have, you can hashtag #getpixyfied! Tag me so I can see your look as well! ^_^
My blogging buddies for the day! Aya of Codename Aya, Celline of Products Arena, and Yette of Yettezkiedoodle! We all got Pixyfied in the event.
Ending this post with this most favorite event photo so far, it’s so beautiful that I want to print and put in a frame *haha*. Seriously tho, I really love this picture! Shout out to the lovely girl who took this photo, Celline of Product Arena!
Pixy is now available in all Watsons stores nationwide and distributed by Mandom Philippines Corporation.
