Gary and I usually do the grocery shopping together. We have clear and precise plan since we are on "lockout" budget. We were checking out the flyer, and noticed that lobster was on sale. I told Gary that I never had lobster before, and he said we must get some. Ok. fine. I'll have my most adorable husband cook me dinner. (Who would say no to this?)
I decided that I would document the whole process. I wasn't really that nervous on if I would like it because I knew he would steer me wrong. Plus, there are several things that I didn't try before him that I now LOVE. For example, he cooks the best salmon ever.
Here's the lobster before cooking.
The lobster cooking. You can see the lobster turning red.
This is the lobster done, and ready to eat. He turned our living room until a candle lit dinner. On the tv was Stanford vs. Oregon. When Oregon was #1 in the Nation. We ate then watched the rest of the game. I was cheering for Stanford because Alabama had lost earlier in the season, so with an Oregon lost they would be back in the National Championship talk. (You know I had to throw sports in there, right?)
