Self Expression Magazine
I have a love/hate relationship with Taylor Swift songs.I'm a fan of a number of her compositions but I can't help but cringe at some uberly cheesy lines. There are also times when I almost wish I can relate to her sad songs but then realizes how a lot of them can be a great theme song in any pity party.Seriously, if you're heart-broken and you want to pour your heart out, buy her album.
One thing I can't deny though, I love her sense of style - which is sweet, country and rugged all at the same time. Her trademark? Red lips.
I can't help but remember Taylor when I browsed through the pictures for this outfit. The cropped top, the red lips, the converse. It's so her.
Normally, I would pair a cropped top with something high-waist. I love high-waist shorts. But this time, I decided to show a bit of the tummy I've been working on.
You know how, when you're thin, and suddenly, you start gaining weight, and the first thing that expands is your waist?
That happened to me last month. Since then, I worked over time doing crunches.
dunno why I look so white here.
What's the goal of this outfit? To go backpacking in style.
I haven't done the whole backpacker's type of traveling yet, you know the type where you take advantage of the Cebu Pacific piso fare and travel with as little money as possible and sleep in the cheapest lodging houses. I'd love to try that someday. Or not.But when traveling with family, I normally only wear really short shorts and any loose top plus sneakers.
That's comfort over style for you!Without really compromising the style.

I find it foolish even that people would actually fall for a business scheme like this. I think it's nothing more than a modern-day anting-anting(charm). think it looks cute on this outfit though.
hype please?
