AT&T launches LTE Modules For IoT in June 2016. This brings a new family of certified LTE modules that aims to assist their customers in many ways. In fact, it will not only help them in lowering business costs but also improve device performance in IoT applications. As a matter of fact, AT&T certifies these LTE Modules to run on their 4G LTE network. In addition, these modules will help in creating industrial and wearable applications. The AT&T business customers, in fact, will now be able to use these modules for building intelligent solutions. They can now build an array of solutions and that to while decreasing the cost of LTE connectivity.

On the occasion of the launch, of LTE Modules, Chris Penrose, Senior Vice President, AT&T IoT Solutions was happy. He says, “Our customers will be able to deploy a wide range of IoT solutions more efficiently and upgrade to Cat-M1. Our Smart Cities, Industrial Enterprises and wearables customers are eager to take advantage of these new capabilities.”

As we know, LTE is Long Term Evolution network. It helps in connecting IoT devices and thus a flawless communication among these devices. “The certification means we can better help our customers attain the easiest and quickest deployment of AT&T’s pioneering LTE Cat-1 service,” says Chun Lee, head of the Global Business Development Division, WNC. “The modules are the perfect solution for IoT connectivity. They are the smallest AT&T-approved Cat-1 modules and offer the most flexibility for compact LTE IoT devices.”
