Hello my dears…It’s been days since I last posted on my blog…Well I guess it doesn’t seem noticeable. :-)But anyway…I hope you’re all doing great! :-)
If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. – 2 Corinthians 1:6
It’s that time of the month again for me…Where I transform into a totally different person…Where I am not as energetic, bubbly, and upbeat as I used to…Where I can be moody, cranky, and depressive…Yes my friends, PMS is in the house again. For some it may sound trivial…But for me, it is a big deal…Because I experience it every month, for around 12 times a year…And it can become such a hassle—It makes me feel down and extremely emotional…
I just hate having PMS (or could it possibly be the worst form—PMDD?).For me, it is a form of suffering…It makes me the worst person that I can be.Because I become unproductive, lazy, and irritable…And that just makes me feel bad about myself.Plus, I really miss my pup, Dave, so badly…I’m in Manila right now and he’s left in La Union (my province six hours away from Manila)…So I guess that adds to my loneliness.** Insert sad face over here ** :-(
Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, Who raises the dead. – 2 Corinthians 1:9
All I long for right now is to be comforted…To be hugged…Even if they were only cyberhugs…For my hands to be held…And someone to just be there…Until all my crazy hormones finally calm down.
He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us again. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us,as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many. – 2 Corinthians 1:10-11
But even if there are no other people around to hear my plea…I’m so glad that God listens to my cry 24/7…And that His Words are written in a Book…So that they are readily available…Should I seek for wisdom and understanding in times of trouble…Most especially this crisis which I go through every month…And all the other reasons that cause me this sadness.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
P.S. Don’t worry, I am still able to find reasons to smile. :-)
