I wanted to try different lipstick finishes from MAC. I already have MAC Lickable (Cremesheen), MAC Viva Glam I and Please Me (both Matte), then I have 2 more on transit MAC Whirl and MAC Mehr, I believe both are matte too. So when a makeup artist friend of mine told me she’ll be sending packages to the Philippines, I ordered Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade (Dark Brown, Taupe, and Blonde, that I’ll review soon) and MAC Plumful. She said it’s good for brides too plus, my greatest enabler for this shade is Essie Button. It’s one of her Top 5 MAC lipsticks!

Packaging is the common bullet of MAC lipsticks. Btw, those are not molds okay? *haha* These photos were taken when the lippie was fresh from the box and I think it’s the dried moist that gave that white spots.
In the bullet, it’s a dark plum / mauve shade but when swatched . . .

One swipe is very sheer so you have to layer it around 3 or 5 times to make it more opaque.
I love that “healthy look” it gives to my lips. It’s definitely a shade that I can wear every single day and in most occasions. It’s very pretty! No wonder why Essie Button put this on her top list!
It blends smoothly on the lips, lasts long without eating nor drinking, and doesn’t dry out the lips.
Compared to MAC matte lipsticks, MAC Plumful (lustre) may need reapplication after eating.
Your pearly white teeth will love this shade too!
MAC Plumful definitely made it to my list of most favorite lipsticks ever! So in love with the shade and finish. It’s never leaves my everyday kikay kit. It’s great even if you forgot to apply your lipbalm. Definitely non-drying and very pretty. I want to try Amplified next. Do you have any MAC lipstick (amplified) shade that you can recommend?
