I bought these bullets a couple of months ago, which was included in my July Haul post. See, my monthly collective haul posts are really helpful for me to track my things. I’ve been using these lippies every now and then, and finally here’s a review. Presenting, my Makeup Geek Lipsticks in Captivating and Charming 
I’m a fan of Marlena on YouTube! I learn a lot from her and when I knew she’s the woman behind this makeup brand, I told myself, I should try it! Thank you Kalm Cosmetics for bringing these here! ^_^
Makeup Geek Lipsticks (left – Captivating, right – Charming) | P389.00 a pop (approx. $9 – $10)
As far as I can remember, I was on search for a nice orange or coral shade of lipsticks before which led me to buying these pretty colors. I love wearing coral shades as they suit my skin tone perfectly (at least, for me) but we have to be careful in picking the right shade as these kinds of coralish lippies can make teeth appear yellowish which is nahhhh!
The packaging of the tube itself is really nice. It’s dust free with nice design on the cap or cover and on top of it is a transparent plastic for you to peek on the shade you want to use.
I love their box!

As you can see, the color is buildable. It’s really creamy but pigmented. This is also my lips’ best friend as it moisturizes the lips and lasts long. It leaves a hint of color on the lips when it has faded a trifle.
Makeup Geek Lipstick in Captivating
It appears to me as a red orange lipstick. I chose this so I have a darker shade.
I love this shade but unfortunately, I’m not sure if it’s due to the delivery time. The package arrived a little bit warm than normal. I was actually afraid that my lipsticks melted. Even though it didn’t, totally, it became so soft and when I use it, it glides on the sides of the packaging. 
I tried putting it in the refrigerator but to no avail. Now, I always use lip brush whenever I wear this.

Well, I like this more than Captivating. The shade is warmer, lighter, and great for everyday look. Thankful that it didn’t melt just like what happened to Captivating.

I love the fact that the shades that I got don’t make my teeth look yellowish or discolored. It also brightens my skin, instantly!

TIP/s and RECOMMENDATION
☑ I skip lip balm whenever I use this but if you have really dry lips, you may opt to apply the balm prior to the lipsticks
☑ Store in a cool dry area
☑ Use lip liner to prolong lasting power

Yes! Check out “Famous” shade, it’s so pretty. That would be my next one most probably 
OVERALL
If only it didn’t melt and is available locally, I’ll give this a five.
