Who is Vac-Man?
Vac-Man is different from Stretch Armstrong in that he comes with a pump which you use to suck all the air out to reveal his rather grotesque bumpy skin beneath. Just attach the nozzle to the side of his head with a twist and pump 6 times to transform him into his villainous self. There is definitely a sense of nostalgia linked to these Stretch and Vac-Man toys with a lot of us parents remembering the TV adverts and the toys fondly.
This Vac-Man is stronger than ever thanks to it's new formula and his 14 inch figure can be stretched to four times his original size and then posed into any crazy position you can think of. He then remains in this posed stretched position until you release the valve and watch his shrink into his floppy state. We found he makes a pretty awesome iPhone holder.
Not only is Vac-Man great for stress relief but he is also so much fun for all the family stretching and pulling him into position and posing him. The kids like to work in teams, taking an arm or leg each and battling to stretch him as much as they can. The laughter that he has generated is pretty epic.
Then of course there is also the battle to be the one to release the valve and suck the air back out again, I had to insist they started taking turns as it was becoming a bit of a scramble!
Our Verdict
Not only do the kids love Vac-Man but us big kids do too. I think every family should have a Vac-Man or Stretch! Hours of entertainment guaranteed not to mention copious laughter with one of these around.Where to Buy
