My Hairstyle Journey | Khitel’s, Azta, and David’s Salon

Posted on the 02 September 2013 by Genzelkisses

Oh finally I’m able to post this!  I’ve been having problems with uploading photos on my blog since yesterday.  Talk about backlogs *sigh*  Anyway, this post is just about my hair journey that I want to share with you.  ^_^  I was blessed with thick, black, silky hair until I fought last stage of Dengue when I was 13.  The doctor said that my body got the nutrients from my hair.  I don’t know if that’s true but my hair was on its worst state after I was hospitalized.  Though, it has improved a little, it never came back with how it was before.

I always go for hair treatments every time I feel like my hair is not looking good.  It’s our crowning glory as they say so we must pay attention to it.  Last month, I consider having my hair colored again thinking it will amend my hair.

Before and After Photo

I’m happy with the color of my hair.  I honestly wanted to dye my hair red or pink :D  but I know I won’t look good because I don’t have super fair skin tone ^_^  After a month or so, my hair badly needed a treatment.  My hair fall was going crazy and I was advised to cut my hair because it’s not healthy anymore and the nutrients from my body don’t suffice.  Then, I decided to try Azta Urban Salon here at Alabang Town Center.

Last minutes of my long hair *laughs*  Sorry for the blurry photo, taken using iTouch only for Instagram >,<

I opted for Brazilian Blow Dry but they don’t have it so I was caught in between Hair Relax or KeraSilk.  They have 10% off promo for their hair treatments.  If go for Hair Relax, it’ll be P1,400.00 for medium hair length, but I don’t like it as I’ve tried it before and my hair feels stiff and dry so I go for KeraSilk, P2,625.00 (discounted price) for medium hair length.  It’s similar to brazilian but milder I think and makes the hair healthier.  It can last up to 3 months, by the way.

The moment of truth.  Haircut by Echo (my stylist) is for P200.00

I wasn’t able to take a photo during the application of KeraSilk.  It smells so good but stings my eyes like hell too! *laughs*  So you have to close your eyes during application.  They will rinse it after 30 minutes I guess?  Then, blow dry and iron.  Viola!

So love my short hair now.  It’s so soft and smooth but not flat unlike when you get your hair rebonded.

You must not wash your hair for two days but I can’t bear how oily my hair was so I washed it the second day.  Then I thought I wanted it shorter because the ends are flying away so I decided to go to my most trusted salon since college, David’s Salon.  Wherever branch I go, they never fail my expectations.  I promise you, their stylists are so professional to the point that they will explain to you why your hair behaves that way and what should be done with it.

My Final Hairstyle!  Yey!

Again, I apologize for the quality of these photos as they were taken using iTouch.  My camera was charging that time (empty battery).  I’m 100% happy now with my hair and I’ll do my best to maintain its condition.  I’m planning to have KeraSilk every 3 months or try other treatments.  I like to explore things as you notice with my blog.

Are you tired with your hairstyle?  Try something new! :)  If you only want haircut, I highly recommend David’s Salon, particulary SM Molino and Alabang Town Center branch. :)  For healthy, straight, and manageable hair without the rebonded or flat-looking hair, try KeraSilk from Azta :)

Let me know if you have any other questions.  Just leave them on the comments section below and I’ll do my best to give my two cents.

What do you think with my new hairstyle?

I like it so much! ^_^
