I wrote a letter to the cookie I ate today.You’ll probably think that it’s weird to dedicate a letter to a cookie.And maybe you’ll think I’m a bit crazy for doing so.But sometimes, I find being silly as one way to make myself smile.One way for me not to take myself that too seriously.And probably because it’s natural for me to appreciate things as small as a cookie.So, here it is! Oh you crunchy-looking raisin oatmeal cookie!You are so tempting to the eye.You called me as I felt my tummy growl.And well, I gave in to your cry!I took one piece that ended up in my mouth.Chewed it slowly…What a wonderful trigger to my taste buds!I swallowed the tiny pieces and made my tummy smile.But tummy wanted another piece!Because clearly, one was not enough.So I took another…Oh what yummy flavor!Thank you for satisfying my appetite!
