I am such a sucker for lip balms since high school. My friends always expect a lip balm from me as a gift for their birthdays *haha*, because I want them to have healthy lips too! I actually had more lip balms than lipsticks before. I’ve encountered products that didn’t work for me. I mean, there are lip balms that I’ve tried, which made my lips dry and give heavy feeling on the lips. Those are the ones that I never repurchased. Here is to share with you my favorite lip savers!
My Lip Balms Tea Party
If you’ve watched my room tour, you will see that in my skin / body care part of my room I have this teacup and saucer where I put my lip balms so I can just pick my lip balm for the day after taking a nice bath and before heading out.
Here are the balms that I am currently using. I have one that’s not in the photo because I keep it in my everyday kikay travel pouch. It’s the Sebamed Lip Defense, in case you’re wondering.
First batch, my Burt’s Bees Lip balms and tints! Who wouldn’t love Burt’s Bees right? It’s the first product from the brand that I knew about. What I really love about Burt’s Bees product is that, they are 100% Natural!
Burt’s Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is great for everyday use even when you’re just at home. It has Vitamin E and Peppermint. If you love that menthol feeling on the lips, go give this one a try if you haven’t yet.
Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer in Rhubarb is my GYM lip balm. I so love the colorful tint it gives to my lips which really lasts! It has micro shimmers that make your lips look healthier. My only concern is that the retractable mechanism of the tube is damaged? I tried twisting it until the end to see how long the product is and oh no, wasn’t able to put it back! What I did is, I twisted it backwards then pushed the product back. I think I just got a bad tube. I purchased this using my Sample Room points and paid for shipping fee.
Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip balm in Rose. It has super nice packaging perfect as gift! The tube is inside those sturdy carton cylinder that opens like a lipstick case. Gives lighter tint compared to Rhubarb. Something that you can wear even under lipstick.

Next stop are my Lip Ice balms! These are available at Watsons! The Lip Ice Sheer Color in Strawberry is like a magic lipstick that gives you pinkish lips upon application. It also has that menthol feeling. It’s one of my most faves to the point that, I didn’t know it’s expired already! Haha! It’s okay since I never experienced any bad reactions or allergies. I threw it away just this week. I’m just wondering if all lip balms have expiry dates? These two were the only balms that I have with expiration dates printed at the bottom of the tubes.
Lip Ice Lip Balm in Grape Blackcurrant, doesn’t have any tint but has Sunscreen! Yey! It has SPF 15 perfect not only for everyday wear but this summer when you hit the beach! I love the flavor by the way.

Fruits & Passion Pear Peony Lip Balm. I bought it on sale at Alabang Town Center for around P175.00 from P375.00 original price. I love how it makes my lips super soft, it’s just that it feels sticky for a few minutes when applied.
EOS Lip balm in Pomegranate. I’ve been always curious with this brand so finally was able to purchase one online in Lamido for P240.00 I think? I love how it’s very easy to use haha! I just pout and kind of kiss the balm and viola! I love the egg-shape packaging even thought it’s so huge compared to lip balms in stick tubes.
Maracon Lip Gloss. I bought this from Apostrophe only that it’s so cute! I love anything maracon like my purse and erasers! It has strawberry flavor.
Maybelline Baby Lips in Pink Lolita. Love this tinted lip balm too! Gives my lips that baby pink flush while keeping it moisturized. It’s available in Watsons and has different flavors to choose from! I believe it’s less than a hundred.
