Are your lips always dry and chapped this summer or even on normal days? Well, you are with me on this! I would like to share with you the product that I discovered and loving ever since the day we met. My whole face is combi – oily so there are some dry parts/patches on my face but the driest would be my lips *haha* I love using lip balms (when I’m not lazy). This guy I have here is currently the best one that I’ve tried.

A few months ago, I was on a hunt for a new and better lip balm to try to prepare my lips during summer. I asked a sales person at PCX what would she recommend for dry lips and she handed it to me. I have a feeling she’s appointed for this brand but I didn’t care. It’s also the most expensive one on the shelf but I’ve heard this brand before and I wanted to give it a shot. She said that it doesn’t just moisturizes the lips but also rejuvenates them and this is a hit for smokers as it lightens the lip color as well.
It’s pretty long so it can last you months before you buy another tube. As you can tell, it doesn’t have any color so don’t expect to have an instant pink lips when you use this. I love its powdery scent but it’s not overpowering so even if you don’t like scented products, I think you can still use this. It may taste a little bit powdery but I’ve tasted worse lip products so I don’t mind at all.

It has SPF 30 so it also protects your lips from harmful rays of the sun. If you have super chapped lips to that point that they turned into wounds, this will help your lips heal. The Bisabolol, based on research is a great anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. I have a bad mannerism of peeling the dry skin of my lips (don’t ever do that), and this helps them heal! I also apply this before going to bed and I like how my lips are moisturized when I wake up.
When it comes to its packaging, I like how I can easily twist and return the product inside the tube without worrying if I will scrape the sides. The mechanism of the tube is similar to a lipstick. You can twist it back and forth whenever you like.
I have tried a lot of lip balms before I can say that Sebamed Lip Defense is my most favorite so far. It’s a staple in my kikay kit and I’m even thinking of buying another tube for my bedside table so I don’t need to get this in my bag every now and then. I highly recommend this lip balm if you are like me who don’t bother with scented products. It’s a great product for regenerating the skin on your lips plus it has added protection from the sun.
