My Trip to Perth

Posted on the 30 July 2013 by Rin @rinkun1691

i know i’ve been kinda MIA-ed for the past two weeks or so… and i have not really left any note here to state my reason, but you can read from my post title and i hope that answered the question.

it was a hasty decision but i had to make a little trip down to Perth. Cold as it may be, it was a good trip. My third winter of the year. 3 winters in less than 7 months. i know. i am a lucky bitch. my first trip to Perth, to Australia in fact. i thoroughly enjoyed the cold, the scenery, the architecture, the friendly people, the extremely NON-populated streets and of course i love the sights and colours of the nature found there.

an almost 180 degrees turn from singapore’s warm and over-populated feel. the state is extremely family oriented, with kids and their parents seen almost at every turn or blink of your eye, and of course the smell of winter was really a welcoming thing.

definitely a place i would visit again if time and money and reason permits me to. except that i was a little not used to shops closing at 5.30pm… i guess that’s the only thing that caught my worry. also, if you didn’t drive, it would be kinda hard to reach the other parts of Perth, since its a really huge place, and cow farms are really worth visiting if you have the chance. you see pastures and animals roaming… beautiful sight. not forgetting the fact that beef is relatively cheap, and awesomely yummy!

before i close off this post and babble anymore nonsense, let me show you some of the things i saw in my little get-a-way. Enjoy!
