No Spend November
Gary and I thought about doing this several months ago but then things came up (like they always do) and we didn't do it. Then I saw this and couldn't help but participate. It's pretty simple Nov 1st write about what you are going to give up. It can be as big as no extra spending at all in November or as little as no Starbucks for the month.  November 15th is just a review on things are going, and then at the end of the month let us know how you did.

I have decided that I will not go out to eat in November. This includes fast foods, convenience stores, and restaurants. We spend a lot of money eating out during the week. We use to be so good at planning, shopping, and cooking food at home. Lately we have been slacking MAJORLY. We are going to get back on track.

I went to Target and got these calendars and planners. The long skinny planner is for our weekly food schedule. We usually plan our food selection on Sundays then go to the store to pick up everything. The normal looking planner is to make sure Gary and I are on the same page. When we were both in the sports world it was crazy between hockey, basketball, and football.

Hopefully this will keep us accountable and cook food in our home.
