No Vacancy Cafe is an ideal place for all age groups to have a rich dining experience and have fun. The restaurant is in Vijay Nagar area on Hudson Lane near Delhi University. There is a high density of residential colonies around thus making it a good choice to experience Executive Chef Anas Qureshi’s brilliant innovative dishes. He is young, cool, and vibrant. He spends a lot of time studying people’s preferences towards food and desserts. It definitely takes some time to finalize a dish. But before the launch of a new menu of dish, he plays his cards quite consciously and cautiously. And that is the reason that most of his dishes are hit and popular.
No Vacancy Cafe has three floors. The design of each floor is quite strategic and mindful. On ground floor, they don’t serve hookah. So if you want to enjoy hookah along with food, you will have to opt for a table on first or second floor. A bar is there but is functional only for mocktails, cold coffees, and iced teas. In fact, they are waiting for the sanction of serving liquor in the restaurant. The ambiance, music, and decor match well with the theme. It is a fact, that finding a table her during lunch and dinner hours is a task in itself. The place is quite popular in that sense. As a matter of fact, kudos to the management for making it so popular within a month of its launch. The staff is good in service and hospitality but needs a little more attentive towards customers.
No Vacancy Cafe Is an Experience in itself
You have a wide variety of dishes here at No Vacancy Cafe among European, Mexican, Continental, and North Indian cuisines. The best part is you get the best of dishes creating no hole in your pocket. Probably the same dishes with same quality will go triple-fold in cost if the restaurant is in South Delhi. In fact, the quality of food is really unbeatable. Chicken Tikka Salad is a nice to start dish. It is, in fact, one of the signature dishes. Creamy chicken Tikka with crunchy lettuce and red onions make it a unique combination. This is from non-veg salad section. From its veg counterpart, you can try Grilled Vegtable and Mesclun Salad. This is again a tasteful dish with right combination of ingredients. At times I feel cooking is a passion more than a profession.
Schezwan Chicken Drum Sticks at No Vacancy Cafe are juicy and tasty. The size is universally same for all the sticks and is better than other places. Loaded Nachos from Light Bites section is completely loaded stuff with a lot of tiny capsules of beans, pineapple, cheese, and tomato. If you are in a hurry and want to have something good for quick bite, try this vegan dish. Tangy Corn Taco is again a Chef’s special dish and is another good choice for vegans. If you love chicken, you must try soft, tender, gentle, and silky Doodhiya Murg Tika from Tandoor. No Vacancy Dig-in Pizza is another signature dish by Anas Qureshi who very humbly calls it an inspired dish rather than his own creation.
No Vacancy Cafe Has A Lot of Surprises in Store for you
Well, this Pizza is something special and has some surprises for you in store. It is a dome like dish that you have to uncover to discover the bouquet of surprises. I am sure you will surely have some innovative ideas to consume it in carious ways. But it is a real innovation for sure. In the main course we had Vegetarian Red Thai Curry with Rice which is a complete meal in itself. But go for it only if you like thick rice and Thai curry. This, actually, is from Oriental Meal Bowl section. From Handi section, Kadhai Chicken comes with thick and rich gravy. It is, in fact, one of the best deals in the main course. No Vacancy Dal Makhani is another marvelous signature dish by Chef Qureshi. It is inducive and addictive. Laccha Paratha goes well with it.
In fact, I had to repeat a Laccha Paratha at No Vacancy Cafe. I am not sure if the repitition of Laccha Paratha was because of Dal Makhani or the soft and at the same time crispy Laccha Paratha itself. As a matter of fact, if you are in a group of three or more, you must try family Naan. But the tenderness and softness of Paratha you will not find in Naan because it is not a Paratha. In Desserts, there are again some surprises in store for you. You can’t afford to miss Forest Dome which is again a signature dish. Fried Brownie Roll is another fabulous preparation. Frankly, there is no comparison between the two. Both are unique and excellent in presentation as well as taste.
Overall, you will have a bundle of sweet and full of fun memories while coming back after dining at No Vacancy Cafe.
