Not Feeling Well

I don't own an expensive phone hehe

I haven’t been feeling well since yesterday. So I stayed in bed and slept the whole day Friday, until afternoon today.I’m thinking that this could most probably be brought about by a viral illness…Which is usually the case.(Yep, I diagnosed myself hehe)…The few months’ training I had back in junior medical internship turned out to be a blessing…Because at least I understand my own body better whenever I get sick :-p.
By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it Holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done. – Genesis 2:2-3
And most importantly…Praise God for I have the opportunity to rest and rejuvenate…Because rest is a privilege not everybody gets to enjoy…
Just like those who are tired but found work way more important than rest…Because they have to earn money to bring food on the table.
Just like those who simply cannot rest because obligation calls…And love becomes mightier than physical exhaustion…Like what a mother experiences…When she has to stay up the whole night to watch over her sick child.
For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy. – Exodus 20:11
And just like those who are called to work even on weekends and special holidays…Doctors-on-call, nurses, and everyone else in the medical field…While others rest…Relax…Enjoy time for themselves…And time with their loved ones…Please bless them, dear God, for sacrificing rest in order to help others in need.
Six days do your work, but on the seventh day do not work, so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and so that the slave born in your household and the foreigner living among you may be refreshed. – Exodus 23:12
Praise God for the gift of rest! And I hope I feel much better tomorrow.
A blessed weekend to you all. :-)
