If I compare Oceanic Pavillion in WelcomHotel Grand Bay with The Square in Novotel there are many distinct differences. And there are many commonalities. Both the places are worth experiencing for the purpose of their individuality in food and hospitality. Both in Vizag are on the beach road. If you are staying in any of these hotels, the beach is easily accessible from both. In fact, Novotel is nearer to the back by few meters. As a matter of fact, all the rooms in Novotel are sea facing. Staying in such a room itself gives a different kind of synergy. While at WelcomHotel Grand Bay all rooms are not sea facing. In fact, from my room (number 205) it was partially visible and that too a little distant. On the other hand, in Novotel, on the 5th floor, the sea was right in front of my room.
Well, let us come back to the Oceanic Pavillion restaurant in WelcomHotel Grand Bay. A warm welcome in the restaurant assures you an exclusive attention and service. Though it is small in size but food, ambiance, hospitality, and service are unbeatable. I could find no chance to find a flaw or shortfall. Two things that were unique in breakfast buffet were Papaya Juice and Moong Dal Dosa. In fact, after visiting so many hotels and restaurants, I don’t remember if I had any of the two at any other place. Papaya juice was fabulous and fresh. In Moong Dal Dosa I had options of different fillings or have it plain. It is, in fact, one of the best Dosa in my lifetime. Cheese, Mushroom Omelette is another delicacy that you must try. The staff is more than eager to assist or serve you in any regard.

Overall, if you are in Vizag and don’t visit Oceanic Pavillion restaurant in WelcomHotel Grand Bay, you will miss once in a life kind of experience.
