You know what, in a parallel universe where kids dream of growing up to be robot pilots or candy designers or cloud eaters(for weather control) or any other odd jobs that wouldn't have meant anything in our universe, I would have aspired to be a professional cat photographer.
As this blog is my happy place, let's pretend that we're in that parallel universe.
Cat photography can be very tricky especially if your models don't know you. Oh cats can be very natural models and even if they have no idea what the big black plastic with a round something in front is for, they still unknowingly pose for it.
parallel
They're really cute too even when they can't decide if you're hostile or not. Those two up there were very wary of me. They were staring at me for a full 5 seconds with their tails in parallel before they eventually ran off.
I don't know about you, but I just love cats. I love them so much that they're probably going to be a permanent part of this blog....even though none of the cats I'm showing here are my own. Not yet at least. Ever since my cat died, I've been endlessly stalking my aunts' cats as well as random strays who are so fond of visiting our yard.
Here's a big kitten. He's male and is almost full grown already.
He's the ONLY friendly cat here. The rest wouldn't even let me go near them.
He's a bit fat. At first I thought he was pregnant.
Opposite views
They're so adorable when they're caught off guard.
A very pregnant cat. A week after taking this picture, she gave birth to four kittens who look just like her. All black and white!
This mother-cat used to be scared of me. But I think I already won her over as she would even let me touch her babies now.
Here she's probably saying, "you again?" as this is probably the hundredth picture of her that I took on that one afternoon alone.
And then suddenly, without warning,
This dude just popped up out of nowhere. This shot is a bit blurred as it was a very cloudy afternoon and he was very very fast.
This one's a true stray. A real macho. He keeps on following that pregnant cat and I have no idea why. He even does that one-eye thing typical of cartoon villains (think Scar from Lion King's).
And this is Simba because he's such a handsome cat (and we all agree that Simba would have been handsome had he been human):

Added a little text because I posted in on facebook on a Sunday. Not sure if the verse is appropriate though. Kitty here looks like he's just telling me to give him food.
"Do you like me? Do want to see me more often in this blog?"
Yes? Yes?
This paranoid cat is really beginning to grow on me.
If you want a daily dose of cat pictures, visit my tumblr. I post cat pictures almost everyday. After all, I'm a professional cat photographer.
Do you love cats too? If not, why oh why?
