Physicians Formula & ST. Ives Beauty Review

Posted on the 18 June 2012 by Courtyb34 @CourtyB34
It has been a while since I last did a review on anything, besides a book. I recently got some new makeup for the summer, and I have heard great things about it. My friend told me about this product, and I really wanted to try it out. Since during the summer, my skin gets tanned from the sun, I need a different face makeup in the summer than I do in the winter. My face doesn't get super dark, you can barely tell, but I can. So, I needed like a powder, something light weight that doesn't cake on my skin, or make it super light, like a ghost. I needed something to help hide the [few] blemishes I get, and something that air brushes my skin, because I love that! So, I decided to try Physicians Formula: Correcting Powder.

Ives Beauty ReviewThis powder is the best! I love it a lot! It doesn't feel or look cakey on my skin, it doesn't feel heavy and it smooths my skin, it covers up the blemishes (when I have them). This powder is wonderful! It was a little spendy, that is because it is a mineral wear. It's a mineral powder and it's by Physicians Formula. Physicians Formula isn't always expensive, but some of their products can be a bit spendy.I am very pleased with this powder. It does everything I want it to do and it matches my skin tone! Like, even in the Winter I can wear this. It just adjusts to your skin tone, it seems.I give this product a 5/5. I seem to give all the products I review a 5/5, but it's because I chose great products and I always can't wait to buy them and try them out and blog about them! Also gives me blog projects and possibly future deals on some the things I review about. Some of the companies have actually viewed my blog and read the review on their product! HOW NEAT RIGHT?Ha!The next product I am going to reviewing is St. Ives Moisturizing Olive Scrub. To be honest, I was a little scared at first to try this, because it has olive oil in it and I was scared that my face would break out after I used this. My face doesn't break out that easily, but I was just a little wary on using it. Finally, on Saturday, I just decided to use it and wave any blemish off, if I got any (which I didn't). I used it in the shower, and it felt so nice! Physicians Formula & ST. Ives Beauty ReviewMy skin felt so soft after! So clean and moisturized. It really felt nice and I think it actually helped the few blemishes I have to go away. Sometimes you just need to add a little moisture to your face to help the process along, sometimes not. It all depends on your skin type. This is a wonderful product! The smell is wonderful, it smells like a sweet thing, like olives but not olives, there is something else in the smell. I just can't seem to pin point it. Overall, this product is truly wonderful, but I wouldn't wash my face every day with this. I would maybe use it like every week, like once a week, or once every two weeks. Unless you have really dry skin, you could use it like twice a week. I give this a 4/5. It was wonderful. These are two wonderful products!I got the Physicians Formula from Fred Meyerand the St. Ives from Grocery Outlet. Hope you enjoyed my review! Thank you for reading!
