I know most of you today are planning your long-weekend-getaway and I hope I'm not yet too late to share these beauty picks with you that will give you a pop of color and a defined look this summer! POP Beauty came up with a new pop art look and I'm so loving it! These products can help you achieve a flawless base and your brows, cheeks, and lips on flick!
POP Beauty Pop Art Collection They sent me the Contour 101, Peak Performance Brow, Highlight and Bright, and Matte Velvet Lipstix (2 shades). POP Beauty Pop Art Collection also includes Velvet Powder Base and Insta-Brow Sealer (not included in my kit and photos)
POP Beauty Contour 101
"POP-ing your features with these velvety matte hues has never been easier! Silky mineral powder gives an almost bare (but still there) satin effect to complexion. Highlight, sculpt, and blush to bring your features to light, whether day or night!"
This highlight, blush, and contour kit is all that you need anytime of the day. The cardboard box make it so light and perfect for travel, though I will really appreciate a mirror in it. It comes with detailed instructions, inside and outside the packaging, with graphics as your guide for application.
Instant favorite because of the super pigmented formula yet very easy to blend. A little goes a long way so remember to just dab your brush lightly on the powder and gradually add more to your liking.
Highlight, Blush, Contour Swatches
The highlighting powder is not too shimmery, giving you natural glowing effect. Apply it on the peek points of the face like middle forehead, nose bridge, and cheekbones. The blush adds color to your cheeks and I think this shade is perfect this summer! As for the contour powder, it's matte and pigmented. I use it on my temples, top forehead, outer nose, hollows of the cheeks, jawline, and under the chin.
POP Beauty Peak Performance Brow and Highlight & Bright
The Peak Performance brow in the shade Natural Brunette (0.3 grams) is dual-ended (product and spoolie). It's retractable with slanted tip that makes it easier to apply and mimic the natural hairs of your eyebrows. To blend, use the spoolie or brow brush that comes with it.
Swatches (Top: Peak Performance Brow, Bottom: Highlight & Bright)
The Pop Beauty Highlight & Bright is in a retractable crayon pen that you can use to enhance the arch of your brows. It's infused with Vitamin E that protects and enlivens as the suit all milky-peach hue adds a lift-up effect. You can also use this on the tip of the nose and cupid's bow to add definition (just apply lightly).
Now the lipsticks! Oh I'm so excited because these two colors are just the bomb! They gave me two shades, Blackberry Burst (left) and Bewitching Beet (right). I believe you can choose from the 10 shades available.
POP Beauty Matte Velvet Lipstix Swatches
The formula is really matte but not so drying. All you need is to exfoliate and moisturize your lips, just like what you usually do prior to applying any kind of lipstick. It doesn't bleed but it transfers (minimal amount). It's also very opaque when applied and long-lasting even without lip liner underneath!
Blackberry Burst is a deep vampy shade while Bewitching Beet is a rich cherry color (my kind or red!).
