I believe I’ve mentioned this before. I’m a late bloomer when it comes to beauty, makeups, and fashion. My mom used to tell me that makeups are for adults, lipsticks will make your lips black, blah blah… that’s why I grew up with fear for makeups and was never interested with them before. I just use eyeliner, eyelash curler, lip balm, and baby powder till I entered college. If I need makeup, I go to the salon since I don’t know how to do it for myself until I became a blogger.
When I went to college, I was like promdi. Almost everyone are wearing makeup and I find them beautiful. That’s the start of me being curious on how I can enhance my look. I searched for the safest makeup to use, until I found Ellana Minerals on Multiply last 2008. I’ve tried almost all of their products. I also have influenced my friends in school to try Ellana, they did!
That’s why I was so excited when I received the invitation. On my mind “Ellana is back!!! I should see it!” The event was held at Rastro, BGC with a fairyland theme for the launch.

I find it really cool when a man talks about beauty. I don’t know why but I admire them, really. Diego is also the hubby of the pretty co-founder of Ellana. He is such a supportive man to his wife. He talked about the NEW Ellana Minerals. They are back in full-force not only online but they will also get across malls and make poreless perfection within reach. Ellana will also launch a new website that accepts affiliates (hello bloggers out there! stay tuned for it! ^^). New Location is in Makati! Full details at the end of the post.

Ellana means “light” and “bright” in Greek, therefore Ellana Minerals are very light on the skin and will definitely give you bright and radiant skin. It all started for their search for makeup that works on sensitive skin, has variety of shades to choose from, great for tropical climate and of course for Asian skin tone. Basically, I was like that before and my search led me to Ellana.

I’m a stalker of her works now *wink* I admire her talent and for being known in local and international for her unique illustrations. She’s a Top Freelance Fashion Illustrator from Manila and has worked together with other famous brands such as Louis Vuitton, Giordanao, and Keds to name a few.
Soleil made 5 Illustrations for Ellana for blush, eyeshadow, lips, face, and primer, respectively.

Ellana Minerals Products’ New Packaging
Together with their new products, they also have new packaging for all of their items. I’m so happy to see all of them! It brings back memories of my college days and until now I still have and using those. I was a Chai Tea Latte before but now I’m trying out Hazel Nut Latte that I got from the event. Reviews will be up soon ^_^ I have reviewed they amazing brush cleaner and baby buki brush (which I have since 2009 and still works just fine until now!)

So happy that they now have compacts! What’s the best part? The shades of their loose ones are also in these pretty pressed foundies! *happy dance!* I’ll be talking more about their new products and packaging on a separate post
