Prayer

Today is about my prayer. I have been reading a lot of Christian style books. In all the books, each other talks about how powerful prayer life can be to your faith. I have to be honest that my prayer life hasn't been what is should be.
From the blog, Raising Godly Children, is a great monthly long post about how to pray for your spouse. Gary and I are each spending our morning praying for the other. Lately, I have been slacking because he gets up before me. Normally I get up with him and we leave at the same. Not been the case since season started which should be the other way because he works more than me. 
Part of my reason with writing this post instead of picking another letter to chose is because I want everyone who sees this to keep my accountable. There are a lot of things I am praying about right now that include finding guidance and peace.  
Below are some verses that I like about prayer. Hope you enjoy just as much as I do.
Matthew 7:7  ”Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you
Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”


Philippians 4:6-7do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus
