Proverbs 3:5

Posted on the 10 June 2012 by Lifeofasportswife @jessaolson
Sorry I missed last week, but Gary and I didn't do much on Sunday. We woke up late and just vegged until we had to go to the ballpark. Then when we got back and fell asleep.
I have had some things come up personally and professionally lately that have shocked me and not sure how things are going to shake out. Most days I'm alright and know the Lord is in control, but then some days I worry A LOT. Then it dawned on me, it's not up to me. I found this verse and thought it would be a great verse to commit to memory. Proverb 3:5
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. KJV
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding.  NIV
Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. NLT
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your understanding. NASB
I love this verse because I need to TRUST HIM and not worry depending on my knowledge. My knowledge is flawed, and his knowledge is perfect and all knowing. I know that HE has a plan for me and I need to be patient and let him work in my life.
Father, Thank you so much for everything. I can not thank you enough because I know I am not worthy. Lord, let me study Proverbs 3:5 and commit it to memory. Not only that but truly believe and follow that verse. In Jesus' Name We Pray. Amen
