With this, as PSBank (Philippine Savings Bank) continuously create ways to provide seamless banking experience to their beloved customers, they’ll be launching new products and services this year. Now, here’s the ATM Lock for PSBank customers!
What is PSBank ATM Lock?
Through an app in you mobile device, you’ll have the control to lock and unlock your ATM Card anytime you want and when needed. This is a very important feature a bank can offer to secure your hard-earned money in your bank accounts.
It is now more convenient to manage your account in your hands. The ATM Lock system adds another layer of protection to PSBank cardholders. It’ll be very useful in cases of ATM Loss and to avoid skimming and electronic fraud using your card.
You can download PSBank Mobile app for free from Apple App Store or Google Play for Android.
What it does?
You can lock and unlock your ATM Card anytime, anywhere. Whenever a transaction is initiated through your card, you will get a transaction confirmation request both in the app and your registered email address. You’ll get notified in a breeze of any activity in your account.
I remember last year when I was robbed, the thief got my blogging camera and my wallet. The first thing I did? I called the bank to inform them that my card was lost and to block any future transactions in my account. With PSBank ATM lock, if ever the same thing happened, it’s more convenient and easier to do this right away.
The app requires your username and password, so you don’t have to worry. You can access the app and your account with your other mobile devices. ATM lock feature is applicable to your PSBank ATM Cards with either single or multiple cards linked to your account.
When your card is locked you will not be able to use the card for:
1. ATM transactions
2. POS (point-of-sales) transactions
3. Online purchases
What you can still do even if your card is locked?
1. Pay your bills
2. Transfer funds through PSBank internet banking, mobile, or over-the-counter
You can enjoy the PSBank ATM Lock feature only if you’re a PSBank Mobile App user, have accounts linked to a Regular PSBank ATM Card, PSBank Debit MasterCard, or PSBank Prepaid MasterCard. If you’re a PSBank Online user, you can also avail the service by just activating you mobile access. They are still working on the SMS feature for this, so stay tuned for that.
